The Shooting Range at the Cu Chi Tunnels
The shooting range at the Cu Chi tunnels: optional, paid per bullet in cash with a minimum of 10, from age 18, and what the tours include and leave out.
The shooting range at the Cu Chi tunnels is an optional extra on every tour: a defence sport shooting range on the site, where you buy the bullets yourself, in cash, sold in tens. The managing body publishes no price list. The tours that give a figure put a bullet at 60,000 to 75,000 VND, or 600,000 to 750,000 VND for 10 shots, and the tours that state an age limit set it at 18. Vietnam Adventure Tours’ Cu Chi Tunnels Guided Tour with Optional Shooting Range includes the entry ticket but not the bullets, from $14 in current promotion (usually $17) a person (checked November 2026), with 596 reviews.
The calendar above is Vietnam Adventure Tours’ half day with the range as an option, with 596 reviews (checked November 2026).
The short answer
No tour carded on this site includes the bullets: if you want to shoot, you pay for them yourself, on the spot. Nobody has to, and the tunnels, the film and the guide are the same whether you do or not. If you plan to, bring Vietnamese dong in cash and be 18 or over.
What it costs
The managing body lists a defence sport shooting range among the services at both Ben Dinh and Ben Duoc, but publishes no price, minimum or age limit for it. The figures the tours give, read in November 2026:
| Tour | The range |
|---|---|
| Hana Tourist, Ben Duoc in a group of up to 10 | 60,000 to 75,000 VND a bullet depending on the firearm, minimum 10 |
| TourVietnam, half day in a car of up to 11 | 750,000 VND for 10 shots |
| TNK Travel, small-group half day on Viator | 600,000 VND for 10 bullets |
| Saigon River Tour, speedboat trip | 10 bullets bought at once can be shared within a group |
The range sets its prices and changes them, so treat these as a guide and take enough cash.

Which tours mention it
Vietnam Adventure Tours’ Cu Chi Tunnels Guided Tour with Optional Shooting Range and its half day on the homepage both leave the bullets out of the price, and both have you back at Ben Thanh Market about 3:30 pm or 7 pm whether you shoot or not. Vietnam Travel Group’s half day with the range includes a short training at the range but not the bullets, which participants buy themselves, and only those aged 18 and over may fire. TourVietnam’s half day in a car of up to 11 names the range in its title and still leaves the shooting fee to you. Hana Tourist’s Ben Duoc small-group tour excludes the range fee and gives a per-bullet price.
On Viator, Vietnam Adventure Tours’ half day sets the age at over 18 for the range, and Les Rives’ speedboat trip lists the range as an optional activity from age 18 (checked November 2026).
If you would rather not
Then simply don’t: the range is an option on every tour here, never part of the price. If the sound of gunfire is the worry rather than the shooting itself, ask your guide before the visit when the group will pass the range.

The Cu Chi half day is the same tour whether you shoot or not, and what to expect in the tunnels covers the crawl itself.
