Cu Chi Tunnels Entrance Fee

The Cu Chi tunnels entrance fee for foreign visitors: 135,000 VND in two tickets from February 2026, children, the Ben Duoc extra, opening hours, and which tours include it.

Updated November 2026

A foreign visitor to the Cu Chi tunnels pays 135,000 VND at the gate, in two tickets: the 35,000 VND heritage fee and a 100,000 VND service-and-guide ticket, raised from 90,000 VND on 1 February 2026 (checked November 2026). The fee list is the same at Ben Dinh and Ben Duoc, and both are open every day from 7 am to 5 pm. On a tour you do not pay it yourself: Vietnam Adventure Tours’ Cu Chi Tunnels Guided Tour with AM/PM Departure includes the entry ticket, transport and a guide, from $16 in current promotion (usually $18) a person (checked November 2026).

The short answer

The fee is small next to the cost of getting there: Ben Dinh is 43.7 km by road from Ben Thanh Market. Without your own transport, a tour that includes the entry is the simple way, and it costs about $16 in current promotion (usually $18) with a guide and pickup. With a driver or a car of your own, buy the two tickets at the gate.

From the Cu Chi tunnels historic site’s notices and Ho Chi Minh City’s fee resolution, checked November 2026.

The heritage fee comes from the city council’s 2020 resolution, which set it at 35,000 VND an adult for Vietnamese and foreign visitors alike. Under the same resolution, children under 7, older people, people with disabilities, members of the armed forces, veterans’ association members and poor households are exempt, and children from 7 to under 16 and students pay half. The service-and-guide ticket is the managing body’s own, and its notice of 19 January 2026 sets it for foreign visitors; it publishes no Vietnamese-visitor price for it.

Which tours include it

Most tours carded on this site include the entry and name it among their inclusions, including the half day this site follows, the Ben Duoc tours, the speedboat trips and Vietnam Adventure Tours’ Cu Chi and Mekong Delta days. Three do not name the entrance fee in their inclusions, so ask before you book: Kim Travel’s Cu Chi and Mekong Delta day, TourVietnam’s half day in a car of up to 11, and TNK Travel’s small-group half day on Viator.

No tour includes the shooting range: the bullets are bought on the spot. The liberated-zone area at Ben Duoc has its own ticket; check whether a Ben Duoc tour includes it. Lunch is not included on the half days by road; the speedboat tours and the Mekong Delta days include a meal.

Going without a tour

You can buy the two tickets at the gate and visit without a tour. The difficulty is the journey. City buses run out towards Cu Chi with changes, and the managing body’s own directions name routes from Ben Thanh to the Cu Chi bus station and on to each site, but those directions date from 2014 and no current route could be confirmed with the city’s bus authority when this page was checked. A car with a driver for the day is the practical alternative to a tour, and a private tour does the same with a guide included: on Viator, Vietnam Adventure Tours’ half day prices its private option at $99 a person for two and $69 a person for four (checked November 2026).

The site is open every day from 7 am to 5 pm. Getting there from Ho Chi Minh City has the distances and the times.
